Summer Surf Camps From June to August
The premier surf camp in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Teaching students of all ages, of any skill level. Lessons are designed by East Coast Surfing Hall of Famer Jason Borte, and administered by a team of skilled camp counselors. We maintain a 1:4 student to counselor ratio to ensure everyone gets individualized attention, and everyone gets personalized guidance.
Our mission is simple: to offer an accommodating, non-threatening, and fun venue to learn how to surf.
5 Day Camps
- Mon-Fri, 8am-12pm
- Extended day camp from 8am-2pm
- Photography for all campers
- Pizza party on last day (extended camp ends at 12pm)

Common Camp Questions
What if I've never surfed before?
Most of our camps (unless otherwise specified) are designed for beginners. No experience is necessary and no one will be left behind. With our 1:4 instructor/student ratio, everyone receives individual attention.
Where do we meet? What do I bring?
All camps will meet for check-in on the boardwalk at 4th Street on the Virginia Beach Oceanfront. All you'll need to bring is a bathing suit, towel, sunscreen, and a snack/drink.
How long will it take to learn?
Most of our students are standing and riding waves on the first day! For some, it may take a few days. After learning to stand, students will learn to catch waves and perform maneuvers, as well as safety and etiquette.
Is camp ever canceled?
Rain won't stop us, but in the event of extreme weather or dangerous surf, camp will be cancelled. If one day of camp is cancelled there will be no refunds. If more than one day is cancelled, we will issue make up days or pro-rated refunds.
